buying the vehicle and booking a Carrier to their home countries normally
takes from an hour to 5hours. So say you
are here by 8am, then its
very possible that by 12 noon we will be done. After you buy the vehicle, the next step would be to find a Carrier which may take your vehicle on the very same day or the following day. |
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR THE
JAPANESE VEHICLE TO REACH YOUR HOME COUNTRY?
ZIMBABWE
– If your used Japanese vehicle is going to Beitbridge
boarder post, it takes a day or two for the vehicle to get there. For example,
say you buy the vehicle Tuesday morning. If we find a Car Carrier which leaves
on the same day, then your vehicle will be at Beitbridge
Wednesday evening. It takes +/- 26 hours for a Car Carrier to travel from
Durban to Beitbridge.
MALAWI
– Used
Japanese vehicles customers from Malawi have to be a bit more patient. There
are about 3 Car Carriers per week to Nyamapanda. Car
Carriers to Nyamapanda are strongly determined by
loads and usually it can take 3 to 4 days for a Carrier to have a full load.
Zambia – The Malawian scenario applies to customers from Zambia.
Mozambique – For Mozambiquen customers, they should give at least a week
plus before they receive their vehicles. Even though it does not take much time
for the Carrier to get to Mozambique, what takes time is the whole process of
inspection and issuing of Mos numbers and no one can
really say how long it will take for the inspectors to come and inspect your
vehicle in Durban.
Lesotho and
Swaziland – Depending on the availability of loads, it takes about
a day or two for your vehicles to arrive in Lesotho or Swaziland.
Botswana – Again depending on the availability of loads, in about a day or two, your used Japanese vehicle will be in Gaberone.
